ACID – BASED CLEANER FOR
BRICKS, BLOCKS AND CONCRETE

REQUIREMENT:

Easy cleaning & removal of mortar stains and dirt from masonry walls, floors, tools etc, without affecting the surfaces being cleaned. Formulated from a blend of acids, Cementaid BRICKCLEANER will also remove grease and soap deposits from tiles in showers and bathrooms. Can also be used for light acid etch of concrete floors, prior to application of surface coatings.

PRODUCT TO USE:

Cementaid BRICKCLEANER

HOW TO SPECIFY:

Remove excess mortar, dirt & grease with scraper or stiff brush to save time & material. All areas shall be pre-wetted with water and cleaned using Cementaid BRICKCLEANER diluted with clean water in the ratio 4 parts water:1 part Brickcleaner, applied copiously and worked well into surface by the use of a scrubbing brush, broom or wire brush to facilitate removal of heavy soiling. Leave for up to 3 minutes then wash off with plenty of clean cold water.

EFFECTS:

BRICKCLEANER reacts with the cement particles, or with the dirt/brick interface, to dissolve the soiling and facilitate it’s removal using high pressure water. May be diluted as above for normal use, or used “neat” if required for heavy soiling.

WHERE RECOMMENDED:

BRICKCLEANER can be applied to most Brick, Block or Concrete surfaces that have been soiled. It is recommended to apply a test area first as the density of the surface can produce different results.

PACKAGING:

205 Litre, 20 Litre, 5 Litre, 1 Litre

CAUTION:

Cementaid

BRICKCLEANER is a corrosive product. Wear protective gloves / goggles / clothing, etc. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for safety, protection, cleaning and washing instructions.

NOTE:

Do not leave Brickcleaner in contact with the surface for more than 3 minutes, before hosing off with clean water in order to ensure that only the contaminants are removed and not the surface itself. Application to a small trial area is recommended to determine optimum period before hosing-off. Collect any run-off & neutralise using alkali prior to disposal.
