PRODUCT TO USE:
N-TAIRAir Entrainment Admixture (AEA)
HOW TO SPECIFY:
All concrete shall contain Cementaid N-TAIR Air-Entraining Agent, at the rate of 60ml per 100kg bag of cement in the mix, or at rate established by trial mix for specified % “air-content”. Water content shall be reduced to preserve slump.
EFFECTS:
Increase workability of concrete and resistance to damage from frost, etc., without loss of strength. When used at above rate, the air entrained in machine-mixed concrete will be from 4% to 6% per volume.WHERE RECOMMENDED:
