REQUIREMENT:
The protection of industrial concrete floors where the prevention of dusting, sealing against occasional oil and grease spillages, and an easily cleaned surface is required. Recommended for light industrial use in low traffic areas.PRODUCT TO USE:
Cementaid “CALRES 120”
HOW TO SPECIFY:
All surfaces to be thoroughly dry and free of all oil and grease. Brush down to remove all surface dust and loose matter. Apply one or two coats of Cementaid “CALRES 120”, depending on the porosity of the floor, at the rate of 4-5m2 per litre.
Cementaid “CALRES 120” is best applied by brush, short-nap lambswool roller, or knapsack spray. Equipment should be cleaned with solvent based thinners such as Xylol.
EFFECTS:
A clear semi-glaze impregnation which dissolves most types of efflorescence and enhances the natural colour of the concrete. Dust proofs the floor and seals it to resist staining from occasional spillages.
For heavy duty or high wear, exterior applications, or for coloured applications, we recommend you specify and use Cementaid ROKITE, or Cementaid LB9.
WHERE RECOMMENDED:
All concrete surfaces subject to dusting, where light industrial traffic or wear, or where minor oil and grease spills are expected.
NOTE:
Cementaid “CALRES120” is an acrylic resin in a penetrating solvent, and does NOT contain any silicone resins.
