REQUIREMENT:
A clear, mid-gloss protective surface treatment used for all slate surfaces, both walls and floors. Also suitable for use with terracotta (indoors) and clay tiles or other dense masonry.Protects the surface from wear caused by foot traffic, and from staining by spillages. Enhances and beautifies the appearance of the slate by imparting a “Wet Look” to the surface.
PRODUCT TO USE:
Cementaid SLATE SEALERHOW TO SPECIFY:
“All surfaces to be thoroughly clean, dry and free of loose material. Apply by brush, short nap lambswool roller or low pressure spray, two (2) coats of SLATE SEALER, allowing 4-6 hours between coats, at the rate of approx. 1 litre per 8-12 square metres. Recoat or touch-up within 48 hours of initial application.
EFFECTS:
A clear acrylic sealer which brings out the natural colour of slate, clay and terracotta tiles, without imparting a high gloss finish. Fully washable, using a mild aqueous detergent (do not use harsh detergents, solvents, or abrasives to clean SLATE SEALER).
Note: Not recommended for use with terracotta tiles outdoors – use Cementaid DRIWAL P6 or Cementaid Silicone S50 for this application.
NON-SLIP: Also available in a non-slip formulation.

CAUTION:
SLATE SEALER is flammable.NO SMOKING. NO NAKED FLAMES.
Observe all usual precautions with solvents.
Use only under well ventilated conditions.
