SILICONE & ACRYLIC
MASONRY SEALER

REQUIREMENTS:

Surface preservation & protection against moisture penetration (e.g. wind-driven rain, etc) for concrete, block-work, masonry, renders, etc. Long term protection of concrete, brick and stonework against weathering, staining or mould decay, while enhancing natural texture and appearance. Protective surface treatment for all masonry in marine environments. Long term preservation and protection for pre-cast exposed aggregate panels, architectural concrete and masonry.

PRODUCT TO USE: SILICONE S50

HOW TO SPECIFY:

All exposed surfaces (specify areas and masonry type) shall be weatherproofed by a single flooded application of Cementaid SILICONE S50 at manufacturer’s recommended coverage rates. All surfaces to be clean and dry before application.

EFFECTS:

SILICONE S50 is a unique combination of Silicones and Acrylic Glazing Liquid. Surfaces treated are not only water repellent but sealed to resist penetration of rain water under wind pressure. SILICONE S50 in a single application highlights the natural colour of masonry but does not produce a glazed finish. Two applications produces a “wetted” effect and a subdued glaze to dense surfaces such as exposed aggregate concrete panels and roof tiles.

WHERE RECOMMENDED:

All natural unpainted masonry surfaces.
