Hysan Place

Hysan Place is a 36-storey retail/office building at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The basement wall at level 3 and 4 and bottom slab were car park used Cementaid Caltite concrete as green, membrane-free waterproofing system. The Hysan Place is the first Hong Kong building that has achieved pre-certification of the highest Platinum level under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Eliminating old fashioned membrane ‘waterproofing’ was a significant part o the LEED certification.
