The mass rapid transit project consist of 2 stations. Cementaid was involved in waterproofing the base slab and basement walls where the underground water-head pressure is more than 20m. By using Cementaid’s system, it gives the project an effective and permanent waterproofing, totally free of any membranes or drainage! Cementaid has used their Everdure Caltite System, to deliver totally, permanently, inherently DRY!, reinforced, structural concrete to most of the underground stations and tunnels in the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit System (MRT).
