T1 Annex Building

With the continuous growth in demand and in anticipation of the planned closure of Terminal 2 for expansion in 2019 , Hong Kong International Airport started in 2017 to expand the core processing facilities in TI ( e . g . check – in , security screening , baggage handling etc . ) to provide additional processing capacity . The key components of the Ti Capacity Expansion include the construction of an Annex Building , the expansion of the East Hall , and an extension of Car Park 4 . Caltite System has been used in water tank and podium roof for the long – term reliable and maintenance – free waterproofing performance .
