This is a heritage listed, elevated walkway, surrounding the more than precious Brisbane Anzac Square, protecting the Shrine of Remembrance and Cenotaph. Driwal P6 and GraffeX were chosen as both protection from the elements and against graffiti, by Brisbane City Council for performance and long life service, as well as ease of use. A large benefit was also the fact that once applied, both Cementaid products are ‘invisible’ to the eye, and do not detract from the original finish. Another benefit, most important to Brisbane City Council is the improvement in the release of chewing gum, becoming a more expensive operating cost to council, than graffiti.
