Cementaid’s Everdure Caltite integral waterproofing system was used for this project’s water tanks, eliminating the past need for applied membranes and generating valuable time & cost savings for the developer. Everdure Caltite System concrete being HPI in nature is superior to other waterproofing system because it reduces concrete water absorption to the lowest which is <1% as measured under BS1881: Part 122: 1983 edition. Everdure Caltite is a unique liquid HPI for inclusion in the concrete mix during batching with the resulting hydrophobic matrix in hardened concrete totally closes the capillary transport mechanism by modifying the surface tension of water in contact with the concrete, forcing water out instead of sucking it in.
