Cementaid Everdure Caltite Waterproofing System for Ice Skating Rink, Cityplaza Ice Skating Rink Cityplaza is a compound of shopping center and three Grade-A office buildings owned and managed by Swire Properties. As one of the firsts to open and longest running ice skating rink in Hong Kong, Cityplaza Ice Palace located in the 1/F of the mall with an ice surface of 800 square metres, is a renowned skating arena providing premier, one-stop facilities to avid skating fans of the city. With superb design perfectly envisioned for hosting world-class performances and competitions, Ice Palace has inspired the blueprint of many popular Southeast Asian rinks to follow. The concrete floor structure of the rink with refrigeration system was construction in 1985 with Everdure Caltite System used for waterproofing. The performance has been impressively reliable through the years and is still satisfactory with the space below the floor used for showroom, retail, restaurants and café. (2017)
