Development by Macly Assets. A small triangular shaped site adjacent to drainage canal to convert to a small mixed development and with 4 levels basement. During the design stage, it was already known by the Consultants that this site is full of site constraints. Existing traffic condition and the underground utilities gave the designer a very headache problem. The only solution is to build the structure under top-down method. However, to waterproof a 4-levels basement under top-down method with a proper waterproofing system is never easy. Finally, Cementaid’s Caltite system was selected to waterproof this deep basement. Overall, the basement was built within schedule and very effective. It is now a carpark basement with mechanical parking devices installed.
