Vega Residensi 1 is a leasehold 18-storey serviced apartment development comprising 3 blocks of high-rise towers housing 356 studio, suite, 3-bedroom or duplex units. Residents have access to 4 storeys of parking bays, convenience store, gymnasium, multi-purpose hall, porte cochere, swimming pool with wading pool, surau, children’s playground, barbecue terrace, podium café and landscaping. Cementaid was recommended by the main contractor to the Architect who immediately approved the use of Hydrophobic Pore-blocking (HPI) integral waterproofing system for this project. By incorporating the 3CC system which renders the concrete hydrophobic and non-absorptive to water totally eliminates the need for past applied expensive membranes. The use of 3CC system was able to saved valuable construction time for the main contractor and overcame all of the inherent cost and construction uncertainties of utilising membranes or full tanking systems. Upon completion, the HPI waterproofed concrete structures are also maintenance-free with design-life durability.
