Over 12,000 cubic meters of Caltite concrete was used to waterproof parts of the basement structure, spectator terraces, link tunnels and underneath the court itself to provide a permanently, inherently DRY! and corrosion-resistant base. Eliminating the otherwise necessary membranes and their time consuming installation,, allowed the very time constricted Wimbledon operations to continue as quickly as possible
