Taragon Kelana offers a retail-cum-office complex comprising of 8 blocks of shop offices, 5 lots of retail lots, and 60 office suites located in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. For this single level basement, Cementaid proposed the use of Aquapel System which are unique liquid hydrophobic admixture for inclusion in the concrete mix during batching. The resulting hydrophobic matrix in hardened Aquapel waterproof concrete closes the capillary transport mechanism by modifying the surface tension of water in contact with the concrete, forcing water out instead of sucking it in. Cementaid’s hydrophobic concrete system have been time-proven in many project applications worldwide for over more than 50 years.
