Pok Oi Hospital was founded in 1919, and has been serving as an important hospital for the local Yuen Long community for 90 years. To meet the increasing health care demand of the New Territories West, the Hong Kong Government commenced the redevelopment of Pok Oi Hospital in 2003. In the redevelopment of the Pok Oi Hospital project, Cementaid Everdure Caltite was specified and used at the basement slab and wall, sprinkler tanks and water tanks for maintenance free water proof concrete.
