With 658 rooms & a restaurant owned & operated by Gordon Ramsay, the Metropol is Melbourne’s only sky-high spa, relaxation and rejuvenation facility with roof-top Sky Deck, Terrace & Club Lounge. For Crown Metropol, every day earlier that the Hotel could open counted significantly – The Level 27 Pools & Level 28 Roof Deck above are all waterproofed and corrosion-proofed using Cementaid’s Everdure Caltite integral waterproofing system, eliminating the past need for applied membranes and generating valuable time & cost savings. Interestingly, the other Southbank Tower has a roof top swimming pool too, but it did NOT use the Everdure Caltite System, and has leaked and continues to leak to this day.
