The terminal had been incorporated with Cementaid Everdure Caltite system, the HPI corrosion proofing system in year 2006. Several structural components had been specified, namely the “floating pontoon” at the waterfront, and general floor surface had been treated with the abrasion resistance system, DIAMITE. Ever since the submerged structure been treated with Everdure Caltite, the terminal didn’t experience any single cracks, spitting and spalling. Cementaid HPI Corrosion Proofing System had been well recognized with its performance based results namely delivering time & cost saving. As compared to conventional waterproofing/ corrosion proofing solutions by other vendors, Cementaid HPI does not require coated/ galvanized rebars + no requirement of sulphate resistant cement (*Type 5 cement) + no requirement of SCM such as silica fume + no usage of epoxy surface application required.
