Nansha Phoenix II Bridge

PHOENIX BRIDGE II Located in the Nansha free trade zone, which is one of the 5 national free trade zone , the bridge is 2145m long with 312m across the Pearl river and with 40m width of 8 lanes. The completion of the bridge will shorten at least 30 minutes between the two sides of the river. Since the site is very near to the South China sea and will be influenced by the regularly salty tide, the designer chose Everdure Caltite into the concrete mix to protect the pile cap and the water level variation zone from the attack of harmful ions and deteriorate caused by the frequently dry-wet cycle. On the other hand, it is very easy to apply and a time-saving protection compared with other measurement like coating/painting/sacrifice anode That will be a plus advantage to the developer/main contractor.
