NUS Cultural Centre was built in 1996. Despite that it is only designed with a very shallow basement, i.e. <1.0m water head, the owner insisted that the basement must be waterproofed by high end system and providing a constant absolute dryness condition at all time. The reason being this is that this building is not only meant for the University to conduct exhibitions and grand events, part of the building is also meant for displaying exhibits belong to the "Time Gallery". Those exhibits are witnessing the growth and achievements of the University in different years, therefore they are priceless and must be kept in a very secure and moisture free place. With this concern, Cementaid supplied Caltite to waterproof this basement and it is performing well even to this time of writing this report.
