On top of this, since the development is a mixed development, a waterproofing system comes with life span limitation in time may not be desirable as well. Finally, Cementaid’s integral waterproofing system is being adopted. The main reason of that is that Cementaid’s integral waterproofing system makes concrete to be hydrophobic and therefore all defects (if any) would not be travelling inside concrete matrix but localized. This enable future maintenance to be easy. Also, the system does not affect by it’s life span.
