Polar Twin Advance (PTA) Malaysia provide a variety of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) for the electronic and semiconductor industry. Its EMS is principally involved in the assembly of box build products, semiconductor devices and advanced materials for the industry. The owner, Polar Twin Advance was looking beyond expensive membrane waterproofing due to its costing, life span and impossibility in repairing leakage. Cementaid provided consultation and advice on the use of Hydrophobic Pore-blocking Ingredient (HPI) integral waterproofing system for the ground floor slab and reinforced concrete flat roof. The time-proven 3CC System was proposed to waterproofed the mentioned locations. With 3CC System, the owner saves time and cost as the structures will be membrane-free and impermeable to water attributed to its hydrophobic concrete matrix with water absorption registering at <1.5% as measured under BS1881: Part 122: 1983 edition. In addition, with 3CC System, water leakage, if any, could be easily identified and rectified while structures are still under construction.
