The Abode

The designers of the Abode rely on the Cementaid HPIs, Caltite and 3CC to eliminate all old fashioned membrane ‘waterproofing’ on this superb building in Melbourne city. 410m3 3CC and 233m3 Caltite were relied upon in the construction of this 55 storey complex comprising 433 apartments on levels 10-54, 8 levels car parking and retail at street level. The entire 9th floor is dedicated for relaxation and entertaining. Facilities include an infinity edged swimming pool sauna and steam room, out door BBQ terrace, meeting dining and lounge rooms. Level 55 will be private dining, day spa and gymnasium. No membranes were used in the construction of this building. The hydrophobic DRY! effect of the Caltite and 3CC concretes will deliver maintenance free, membrane-free performance for the design life of the building.
