The Project : SouthKey, spanning across 330-acre of prime land right in the heart of Iskandar Malaysia, Flagship Zone A is poised to be an integrated township. An integral part of SouthKey, the Lakefront Shop Offices represent the first commercial development by the lake within the master plan with a mix of trendy shops and modern office suites. The Problem : The Consultants were deliberating on minimizing of costs and waterproofing applicators for this project when we approached them by offering a Manufacturer’s performance guarantee which changed all their perception towards waterproofing as a whole. At the same time, they were also concerned with waterproofing of the driveway with membrane. With the entry of Cementaid, we managed to minimize most of their fears and resolved their problems accordingly. The Solution : Cementaid proposed the use of its range of Hydrophobic Pore-blocking Ingredients (HPI) integral waterproofing systems in the form of Aquapel System for their lift pit slab, basement slab and driveway, and 3CC System for water tanks and reinforced concrete flat roofs.
