A prestigious project that has put Singapore’s art scene onto the performing arts’ world map. The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall was first built in 1862 and was rebuilt in 1909 and has been part of Singapore’s heritage and history ever since. This redevelopment project posed a great challenge as the old facade needed to be retained while the new basement structure and super structure was constructed. Requirement of dryness in the basement was extremely stringent as it is used to store very expensive instruments and equipment, thus waterproofing effectiveness is crucial. Cementaid’s Everdure Caltite has delivered the desired, permanently DRY! results on time.
