Yuen Long Public Library

Located along the main pedestrian promenade connecting cultural and educational facilities with Yuen Long Park and surrounded by residential developments, the new library building is conceived to be of complementary nature – yet, a contribution of stimulating contemporary civic architecture with a distinguished new silhouette and a landmark in the neighborhood. The relocation of the library was completed in mid-2017. Cementaid’s Everdure Caltite System had been specified by the consultant architect for reliable and permanent concrete waterproofing for the plant room structure of the basement of the government project.
